I am reading Letters to a Young Sister. This book is very good..It talks about life as a young girl and how to make the right choices.. Why didnt Crystal leave when the boy was touching her?? As the main characyer, Katniss's dsitrict was destroyed and bombed, since when did it gettrebuilt. Seemingly, Greasy Sae and what remains of her family have moved back in, along with Haymitch, Thom, and Peeta, but when did it become safe and okay to just go back to your home when it was decimated and bombed to ashes? And it's not even like district 13, the place where district 12 survivors had gone, was saying, "Everyone from disrict 12, you can now return home," or "District 12 is slowly becoming more sustainable for life." Instead Katniss, with everyone else besides Gale, and her mom was just shipped away and left in their messed up district without much sources for food, or anything like that. That whole segment of the book in itself was just overwhelmingly confusing. Sorry for being so late with this post but, I'm reading A Novel Idea. The character that I really don't like is Francesca; she SO ugh. The way she moves is rude. For example, Audre really likes Griffin(he is a "HOT" boy that works at the Book Nook in Park Slope). Anyhow Francesca really tries to erk Audre and Norah's nerves. I mean are Norah and Audre going to be friends with Francesca anytime soon? Is this going to cause a problem to their book group?

Unfortunately, sometimes we have to deal with the drama. I think that if Francesca was really getting on Audre and Norah's nerves, they should have came to her and told her how they feel. They didn't so they just might have to suffer instead of being real with the person. Curently, I'm Reading the book, Artemis Fowl. It is about a 12 year old boy who is trying to exploit a hidden world of fairies in order to gain riches to keep his family's state and get over the dissapperance of his father. He is a pretty smart kid, every time the fairies try to capture him, or he is in a
tight spot he seems to have already had the situation figured out. In short, he's always one step ahead of his adversaries and accomplices alike. Currently, I'm intrigued at what may happen as Artemis is currently beginning to feel remorse and empathy for Holly, a fairy whom he captured and has locked up. As the story drags on, it's almost as if Artemis is developing cmopassion, and I wonder of it will drive him to releasing the captured fairy befor=e it gets too late and an all out war is launched due to his insolent behavior.

Now, I'm reading Wolf Brother, and what a very interesting novel it is. To give a short preview of the book, it's about a boy named Torak who's father was killed by a demon bear right in the beginnign of the book. Eventually, Torak finds a wolf cub that seems to follow him around and share a connection with him that he doesn't understansd. Not only that, but he can understand and talk to the wolf, which, he learns later, is because he is the listener and destined to sacrifice his blood at the World Spirit Mountain in order to kill the demoon bear that killed his father. Well, this book is becoming a tad bit confusing by al the terms that the author is using, like she's expecting the reader to catch on fast to words like the Great Auroch, The World Spirit, and the Auroch's Red Eye. It took me about 100 pages to really understand those terms and another 100 pages to know that when the author is talking about moons, she's talking about months. All in all, the bbook's a tough read. Rahmel_R
Torak is about to face this dude named Hord in a fighting match off. Hord is of the Raven Clan and he captured Torak afterspotting Torak eating some buck. Torak wasn't supposed to take the buck and so Hord along with the Raven Clan has sentenced him to death although Torak doesn't believe that he should be punished for not knowing about not taking the buck. I don't believe that he should die either, but something is troubling me about the situation. Say in real life someone is killed and the murderer says that they didn't think it was against the law to kill, would it be okay to let the murder go free if they didn't know? Torak's situation, in some light, does loook like a situation like that, so is it neccesary for Torak to be killed?

I think that it is fare for them to kill torak because there is never a sittuation were it is acceptable to kill someone even if you don't know the rule's. Oba-c
