In the book Secrets In The Shadows, the main character, Roylin, took some money from his old friend Mr.Miller. Roylin and Mr.Miller have been friends for a very long time since Roylin was a little kid. (He's 16 now.) Roylin wanted to buy a $300 necklace for a girl that he likes named Korie Archer. Roylin thought that if he bought the necklace that she always wanted, Korie would be here girl. But Tuttle, the owner of the building Roylin lives in, saw Roylin take some money from Mr. Miller. Mr.Miller was so shocked that he lost so much money he had a heart attack. So either Roylin had to work for Tuttle or Tuttle would call the cops. Roylin was forced to work for Tuttle. After Roylin bought the necklace for Korie's birthday, he showed it to her. Korie was so delighted. Roylin thought that Korie was his girl and no one else can have her. When Korie needed someone to do the project for her she asked Steve, one of the football players of Bluford High School. Steve said he would do it. Roylin thought that nothing happened after giving Korie the necklace. She was so happy and now she's asking a football jock who get's all the ladies, to do her homework. Roylin told Cooper one of his friends that girls are a lot of trouble. Roylin never though of Coop as a friend. But when he told Roylin were friends and got each others back, he felt loved. -Melvin_F

Yoo Melvin I was reading the same book and I didn't quite get where you are but I could tell he was going to borrow the money from somebody. And if I had feelings for a boy the way he had feelings for this girl I would do the same thing.

Hey guys. About that story and connecting it to myself, yeah, I would feel the same way like Shamonte but how do you feel about this Melvin? Would you do the same, how would you act in that sitituation. The book also seems interesting and thanks; I just might read it.

Yo Melvin this book sound made good. i might want to read

it some time. why would roylin do it but it was just for a good cause. Stephon s.

What's up dudes the book I'm reading is the The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. The main character is Arnold Spirit, a goofy-looking dork end up leaving his reservation's on-board school. All I got to say is why was the guy who ran grandma over drunk. I realize a theme is that Indians get drunk and do stupid things.( Mostly Arnold's friends and family.) Also what is up with Rowdy acting like a smartypants when Arnold tells him he is leaving the reservation I'm confused can someone help me out. Khahlil_OK

I was reading the latest book of A Diary of A Wimpy Kid book and I see why everyone goes crazy for it. I just like it. You guys were going like OMG how do you have the bokk to each other and I don't understand. And Melvin, it is a book, not a real Diary. Getting back on the book, Greg and I think Rowley stopped being friends. Greg says that he would do fine about him but he really wants him to be his friend again. Also, in Greg's life, everything is about puberty and where it is. He came home stinking one day, his mom left a book on him bed about "Your Changing Body." At his school, they showed a boys' puberty tape and Rowley was absolutely terrified. This ice cream kid "isn't cute anymore" because he is older. Greg wants to be his replacement but he is "too old" for it. - Jeremy

The book I'm reading is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. Greg's mom is back in the family and everything is back to normal. As a matter of fact, Greg's mom leaving was the whole reason why Greg's life has been so messed up. Like Jeremy said above^^, Greg wants to get Rowley back but he acts like he doesn't really care about him and his life is better without Rowley. But he was wrong. Rowley was the only friend he had in his life and without him Greg can't function properly. Everything is back to normal.

The story of the Lost Heroes branches off of percy jackson and moves onto a new generation. It starts off with the the main character having amnesia. He also seems to be in a group where people hold kids that have done something wrong. Because of his amnesia, he doesn't know why he's there and he really thinks he doesn't belong there. He also has two best friends that he doesn't remeber. I say that the book starts off well. -Jeremy
